airplane-rental clerk Charters or rents airplanes to licensed pilots, licensed retreat instructors, or charters aircraft to passenger-customers with company flier: Determines object, journey's end, dates and stretch of flight, and number of passengers to choose apt airplane representing document. Examines aviatrix's license to assure customer is able to aviator aircraft or is suitable to coach students, or notifies company pilot of requested retreat. Prepares rental or document forms and secures buyer's signature. Reserves airplane and records escape facts in logbook. Informs other workers to fuel, clean, and move airplane to escape face. Computes buyer's charges based on hours flown and company rate schedule. Receives See pay or records trust charges. Prepares monthly bills. Requisitions and keeps records of department and airplane supplies. May scrutinize airplanes periodically to check if they are adappropriately cleaned and serviced. May document escape plans with airport conveyance controller. May provide pilots with (meteorological) condition(s) forecasts and airplane specifications.
